Airscape
Welcome to Seattle Coffee Gear’s selection of handpicked products by Airscape. We love the simplicity, affordability, and quality of Airscape Canisters. The company was founded by a Montana backpacker who was sick of drinking instant coffee on his outdoor adventures. The Missoula-based company now produces great storage and presses for keeping your coffee fresh, and brewing it on the go or in the kitchen. It’s all about lightweight builds, durability and simplicity with Airscape, and SCG is the perfect place to shop this excellent brand!

Perfect bean storage with no filters or pump devices needed.

I own several Airscape Kilo coffee cannisters. I buy my preferred coffees in 2 pound packaging usually within a month of brewed beans. I usually keep several loaded with a kilo of beans(2.2 pounds by weight). There is room for almost 3 pounds and the tight fitting silicone sealed inner lid allows you push all the air out and lock in place and with a second lid that fits tight over the whole canister. I have had mine for 3 years from both Amazon and Seattle Coffee Gear. I highly recommend these for your coffee. Two pounds of beans only lasts me about 10 days.

Quick and easy to use, keeps coffee from going stale!

Very easy to use and keeps coffee from getting stale too quickly! I compared this to the fellow Atmos coffee canister, and I've really liked how easy it is to use the Airscape!

Good design

I finally upgraded my coffee bean storage from double-bagged ziplock bags to a proper storage container. The functional description of removing the air, the size, and the materials was what I was looking for. However some reviews mentioned difficulty in opening the lids or the lid being loose. Those issues have not been a problem for me. The inner lid has a hole to allow air to escape when the handle is upright and is closed when the handle is on its side. It took me a few times to get the hang of keeping that inner lid from tilting and sticking as I pulled it. Once I got beyond that this canister is great.

Airscape Coffee Canister

It does indeed keep coffee fresher, but the air exhaust hole needs to be bigger in my opinion. WHY? When pushing down on the inner lid too fast to evacuate the air out of the canister, small grinds are forced in seal rings so when you pull out inner lid coffee grinds fall out of the seal rings all over the counter. Push slower you say, then you will stop using it I say.

Works as intended

Does exactly what it says it will. Removes excess air from the container. Build is solid, seal holds well, look is nice, well constructed. Make sure the handle is in the upright position while you are compressing the cylinder.

Love the canister overall, it?s just HUGE

Love the canister overall, it?s just HUGE. Definitely goes in a low cabinet rather than a countertop or upper shelf. I wish they had an in between size. The function is excellent though. It really doesn?t a great job of squishing out the air and keeping coffee much fresher.

Very Impressive!

I does exactly what it was made to do and it does it very well. It keeps our sugar and flour from getting hard and lumpy.

Simple and EASY

Extremely easy to use and has a very simple look in white. I do wish this size was offered in the same 4 colors as the 32/64 oz canisters....they are gorgeous

Works well

It works well but i don't love the size. I know it is that big to hold that many beans but if i had to do it over again i would have purchased 2 of the one pound ones instead of one large one.

Air Scape Kilo coffee container

The kilo will easily hold 2-1/2 lbs of coffee beans. I have only been using the kilo for the past week. The beans smell fresh and are still showing the oils from the roasting process.

Great option for storing 1.5 - 2 lb bags of beans

Keeps it air tight regardless of the level of beans, we are loving it! You can tell it's high quality and it looks cool also.

not as good as the 1 Ibs canister system

not as good as the 1 Ibs canister system. The air escape plunger is very difficult to press in and nearly impossible to remove without wedging the can under an arm. Lastly the top lid is loose and the rubber gasket that locks is in comes loose from its position. I bought 3 and I am debating if I should keep them or return. I occasionally buy 3 lb. bags and wanted a large can to hold them. The manufacturer had mentioned the product but has not had it available on their web-shop. Perhaps this is why.

Just okay, paint quality and lid fit could be better

I own several Airscapes and find that they perform pretty well. The Kilo is just a scaled up version of the original 32oz and 64oz versions. Although, I did have a couple of craftsmanship concerns with my Kilo that impacted my overall view of the product:1) Lid first loose, really loose: The Airscape Kilo I received has a loose fitting lid that barely stays on when the can is tipped 45 degrees.2) Paint Quality: I own several other Airscape products in stainless steel, this was my first with paint, and I couldn't help notice the flecks of debris trapped under the paint and the white film transferred to the lid when it made contact with the can (I purchased the white colored can).

I can’t find the inner lid, how can I get another inner lid?
