Yes, that's a decal.....

As with all OKO products this kettle works great. I only wish the instructions were a little clearer. Although this sounds silly, please be aware that the unit ships with a decal covering the temperature gauge which obviously needs to be removed first. Then set the temperature gauge to your desired setting. THEN....press the inside button again to display the current actual temperature and that starts the brewing process. That's it!

Broken in less than 1 year

I do not recommend this product. When it worked, it was great, but the temperature control just broke 9 months after purchase. The kettle will not even boil water any more and is practically useless.

Completely adjustable temperature glass kettle!

Just what I?ve been looking for, a completely adjustable temperature kettle! As an added bonus it?s made of glass?you can see the water level and measurement is both standard and metric.

I can drink tea again!

I bought this when our old kettle died (R.I.P) The adjustable dial is a welcome change. The beeping to tell me when it's done is also a welcome addition. I will say it's a quick one time sound.Overall I'm ecstatic not to have to boil water in a pot anymore and especially after having an electric kettle this one meets all my needs and compact enough to fit in our coffee/tea station.

Do any plastic parts come in contact with the boiling water?
